Bachelor of Applied Science (Environmental Science) Honours, M.A.I.E.H.

Paul has worked in environment and health field for 8 years, with experience in the mining and smelting industry as well as local government.  Paul’s primary qualification is a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science with a background in ecology.  Employment in the mining and smelting industry gave Paul exposure to environmental auditing of larger facilities, skills which were used on a smaller scale in Botany during assessments of small and medium industry.  Through his employment at Botany Bay City Council, Paul has developed skills in contaminated site assessment and management, and in the identification of environmental issues relating to many types of development.  Paul is a Member of the Australian Institute of Environmental Health. 

In addition, Paul has developed skills in the public health area relating to food premises, legionella control, and immunisation, and the assessment of development applications.
