1995 – 2011

Narrandera Shire Council – Director of Environmental Services – this position permitted me to oversee a number of portfolio’s including environmental & town planning, swimming pools, asset maintenance, cemetery operations, heritage, aged care facilities, building control, departmental budgets and finances, community services and overall management of the department.

1990 – 1995

Coolah Shire Council – Director of Environmental Services – responsible for all building, planning, waste management, public health and building maintenance.

1985 – 1990

Cobar Shire Council – commenced work in local government with this council rising to the position of Deputy Health and Building Surveyor

1972 to 1985

Meat Inspector with NSW Agriculture and then Federal Government Department of Primary Industry based at Homebush Abattoir and travelling to many areas of the State in a relieving capacity.
