Graduate Diploma of Applied Science [Building], M.A.I.B.S., M.E.D.A.P., M.E.P.L.A
Alan has worked in local government for 30 years, for a range of Councils covering rural, regional and metropolitan councils. Alan's primary qualification is a Post Graduate Diploma of Applied Science in Building Surveying. Alan is a Member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors, a member of the Environmental Development and Professionals Association [Western Group] and a member of the Environmental Planning Law Association.
In addition, Alan is currently president of the E.D.A.P. Group, which is the Western Area's Professional Association of Local Government Health and Building Surveyors, Town Planners and Associated Professionals in both Local Government and Private Sector.
Alan was employed by NSW Department of Health during the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games as an Environmental Health Officer and Food Inspector.
Alan has a broad range of experience in Environmental Health, Building and Planning issues.
